International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF) is a global sexual and reproductive health service provider and one of the leading advocates for universal access to sexual, reproductive health and rights (SRHR) for all. We are a worldwide movement of 149 national organizations working with and for communities and individuals and, together, have delivered more than 1 billion cumulative services over the last 6 years.
We are now looking for people to join us and make our Come Together–Strategy 2028, a reality. Revolutionising IPPF, placing it in a stronger position to support SRHR for those who are left out, locked out or left behind. Come Together commits IPPF to shaping laws, policies and norms through feminist action and international solidarity; and to strengthen the federation adding new drive for real and lasting impact.
Action is urgent. We have delivered. We have stood for justice and equality. We commit to more daring and feminist action that secures choices about our bodies, sexual lives, and well-being. Everyone should enjoy a pleasure-filled and healthy sex life and a life free from violence, shame or criminalisation. We know love is love. And we come together in support of women, youth, and people who are marginalised and excluded. Through the care we deliver, the actions we take, and the solidarity we foster.
IPPF European Network (IPPF EN) works with 40 national organisations throughout Europe and Central Asia, as well as the Regional Office in Brussels, Belgium.
The IPPF EN Regional Office is recruiting two
Architects of Cooperation (Full time)
One based in Central Asia
One based in the Balkans
Are you skilled at supporting NGOs in diverse contexts and geographical settings? Can you build relationships while remaining objective on performance? Do you love spotting opportunities and connecting different types of civil society organisations within and across borders? Are you passionate about keeping a relentless focus on ensuring the health and rights of those most excluded by our societies? Maybe you even have experience acting from within to fight for those rights. Then join our team!
We’re looking for two Architects of Cooperation, one based in the Balkans and one in Central Asia. These exciting new roles are enablers and partners of our Member Associations (MAs) - they listen; learn; make connections to help MAs develop and grow; leverage expertise that exist in MAs and help share that expertise with others across IPPF. These roles will be crucial in ensuring IPPF really adds the value MAs want and increases their impact for people.
We have two roles and in each we are also looking for a particular skill that will not only benefit the MAs you will work with, but will contribute to our multidisciplinary team of Architects and help across the board to improve our MA development and support work. So in one role you’ll bring either your experience in humanitarian (preparedness and/or response) work, particularly in the context of working with migrants and refugees, and in the other a solid knowledge of budgeting and financial management, along with a track record on strengthening organisational systems/processes. You’ll be fluent in English as well as Russian (for the Central Asia position) or a Balkan language (for the Balkans position).
We particularly welcome applications from people who represent communities who face exclusion and/or particular difficulty accessing their sexual and reproductive rights.
Interested candidates are requested to send their application form to [email protected] by 1st June.
