About IPPF
IPPF is a global healthcare provider and a leading advocate of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) for all. Led by a courageous and determined group of women, IPPF was founded in 1952 at the Third International Planned Parenthood Conference. Today, we are a movement of over 100 autonomous with a presence in over 140 countries.
Our work is wide-ranging, including comprehensive sex education, provision of contraceptive, safe abortion, and maternal care and responding to humanitarian crisis. We pride ourselves on being local through our members and global through our network. At the heart of our mission is the provision of – and advocacy in support of – integrated healthcare to anyone who needs it regardless of race, gender, sex, income, and crucially no matter how remote. Volunteerism is central to our healthcare delivery. It underpins the vital work of our members and their teams, whether through community outreach and distribution of contraceptive care or the regional Youth Action Movements championing change.

About IPPF European Network
IPPF Member Associations are independent organisations championing the needs of their local populations, especially the most marginalised. They work with young people, ensuring they are fully literate in the skills they need to manage their health and to engage in safe and fulfilling intimate relationships. They provide and advocate for essential care such as contraception, maternal health care, HIV prevention, safe and legal abortion and support for survivors of rape and sexual violence.
IPPF EN cares for all women, men, children, and young people across Europe and recognises their right to lead safe and dignified reproductive lives, free from harm and discrimination.
Gender‑based power inequalities mean that many people face barriers deciding if, when and with whom to have sex, form relationships, or create a family. We advocate for a world in which love and sexuality are recognised both as natural and precious aspects of life, and as fundamental human rights. We strive for a world where misogyny and sexism have ceased to exist, and gender or sexuality are no longer a source of inequality or stigma. We will not retreat from safeguarding these fundamental choices and rights for current and future generations.

Our Vision
All people are free to make choices about their sexuality and well-being, in a world free of discrimination.
