IPPF EN is seeking to recruit researchers based in Portugal to conduct a study aiming to answer the question:
What is the effect of a gender transformative education curriculum on adolescents’ attitudes (age 14-15) regarding gender equality in Portugal?
This consultancy represents the second phase of a four-year study. This phase of the study will take place during the 2023/2024 school year and will be conducted in 10 schools in the North of Portugal. The study will assess the effectiveness of a gender transformative education curriculum on improving (i) students’ knowledge, attitudes, beliefs, and behaviours regarding the promotion of gender equality and prevention of SGBV; (ii) school climate regarding gender equality and SGBV; and (iii) teachers' comfort to teach subjects related to gender equality and SGBV.
